Our adoption contract provides Cocker Spaniel Rescue will accept the return of any cocker spaniel we can document was adopted from us whether it is ten days or ten years after the adoption was completed. This does put a burden on CSR but it is our commitment to the dogs and we honor that commitment. We have database of adopters and dogs we can check to verify adoption.

To start the return process, please e-mail cockerinfo@swbell.net or call the hotline at 713-208-1314 and leave a message. One of our volunteers will contact you to counsel you and devise a plan for the return of the dog.
Please be prepared to provide:

1. Reason for return
2. Current picture (e-mail to cockerinfo@swbell.net)
3. Vet records preferably with shots (distemper/parvo/hepatisis/parainfluenza), bordortella and rabies) up to date and proof of heartworm test within the last three months. Provide a hard copy or e-mail them to cockerinfo@swbell.net
4. Name of food and feeding schedule.
5. Please bring the dog to us clean.
