We met Webb in August 2005 at a PetSmart. We knew right then that Webb was meant to be our companion. He had some special needs regarding his behavior at times but we accepted that and took him home with us. I think that Webb was finally glad to have a permanent home to share his unconditional love with his new found friends. That was almost 3 years ago but seemed longer and that was because we had so much fun together. Two weeks ago Webb became very ill with a blood disorder. He spent about 4 days at our veterinarian trying to get well. Showing some progress but still very weak we brought Webb home last Thursday and that made him happy. With his physical condition as it was, he never gave up his strong willed attitude that we had become to love. A true solder to the end, Webb passed away surrounded by Zoe and me around 8:15 pm on Sunday May 18, 2008. We talked with Webb to let him know that he had met his requirements for a fun loving pal for our family and that if he was tired then it was okay for him to go to sleep and rest and someday we would see him again at the Rainbow Bridge....he laid his little head over an took his final nap.

We want to thank Webb for all the love and friendship he has given us over the past 3 years. Our hearts are broken but our memories will always have smiles for all that we were able to do with Webb. Thanks to Cocker Spaniel Rescue for allowing us the opportunity to adopt Webb and make him part of our family. Please keep us in your prayers as we do for all of you.
