Trey, my brother, became ill late last year. His mom and
dad did everything possible to save him. But it was not to be. There is a
hole in their hearts and in mine too.
|
We went from paupers to princes at a very early age. We were born under a
trailer and nearly perished when our mom, Marbles, was rescued without us.
We were discovered three days later. Reunited with Mom, we flourished.
Our foster mom always said we were a rowdy bunch and I guess we were. We
liked to fight with each other. The more barking and growling, the
better. We stole each others food and toys. It was a fun time.
|
Trey moved to Louisiana when he was eight weeks old. A wonderful
couple adopted him. I thought this was cool but I did miss him. It was
incredibly boring without him to play with. Still is.
Trey's mom stayed in touch with my foster mom so I always knew what was
going on in Trey's life. We always exchanged Christmas and Birthday cards.
One time Trey's dad even sent me treats he had baked!
Wow. Trey had it made.

Trey was very excited about the arrival of a human baby brother. They
only got to spend a few days together but Trey was a devoted big brother.
Trey was a beautiful boy both in appearance and personality. We all miss
you, Trey.
