We will never know if Lyndsey's aggression was genetic or the result of long term abuse before she arrived in rescue. After almost a year with us, she came to love and trust her "Mom" & "Dad" but every other human was suspect and in danger of her adrenaline rush episodes. As hard as we tried, we could not change or modify this behavior. The knowledge that Lyndsey knew love and kindness in rescue has to be the only reward. Lyndsey, I'll never forget your kisses and snuggles as you slept near my feet. I wish we could have really saved you and eased the pain you suffered from unknown demons.

We will meet at the Bridge where you will be whole and happy!
