Old fella, Jerry, passed away when his ailing heart finally stopped beating.

He was found wandering in the middle of the street one cold night in December. A college student took pity on this ancient dog, named him "Geriatric", and called Cocker Spaniel Rescue.

His owners could not be located, but a space at the Cocker Inn opened up, appropriately enough, during the Christmas Season.

Though his past life was a mystery, he was a happy dog...always looking forward to his walks out front and, of course, mealtimes.

We will miss you, Jerry. There is an empty spot in our bed with you gone.
