Mr. Jackson Kerry-Davis
May 1996 - September 4, 2009

Following a one and a half year struggle with the effects of aging and the resulting complications, Jackson left his life here on earth to run and play in a beautiful field of dreams.

Life for Jackson really began anew in May 1998 when lost, lonely and all alone he was rescued and given food, warmth, shelter and an abundance of love by Cocker Rescue of East Texas - Houston. Jackson was always a faithful friend and true companion. He asked for little, but gave everything he had to share - his bright smiling eyes, a loving pant, a wonderful disposition and always an ear to listen to all of our daily woes or laughter.

To each of us, he gave his true and unconditional love as only Jackson could give. We were always delighted to see the steady wagging of his short black tail when he saw any of us come through the door.

It remains a mystery as to why Jackson was lost but thanks to the Cocker Spaniel Rescue website, Jackson found his "forever" home and his safe harbor. Whether it was luck, fate or divine providence, Jackson remained a bright spot in our lives for almost five years. Today that light has been blown out - but the beautiful memories he left with us shall never dim.

He is survived at his home by his mothers Sybil and Lissa and his constant Cocker companion, Miss Katie. He is also survived by his mommy Sheila, his Cocker sister Miss Bailey, Grandma Reba, Grandma Joyce and his Labrador girl friend Abby.
