Our sweet boy, Dooney (Muldoon) left us this afternoon. He left this world the same way he entered our
lives....playing with his ball. The vet let him have his ball to the end. He loved his ball more than food.
We were in the memorial garden. It was very peaceful.
For the past two nights, I slept on the futon with him. It was painfully obvious during this time that he was
struggling to breathe. Hard to believe a tumor could develop so quickly and have so much fluid in his chest cavity.
There was so much fluid, we could not even see his heart on the x ray.
It was cruel trick of nature to watch a second beloved dog die because of inability to breathe.
We will miss you, Doonbug.
