With tearful eyes we watched you
And saw you pass away
And although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.

A heart of gold stopped beating,
hard-working paws at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best."

Today, we broken-heartedly escorted our Sweet Dolly to the Rainbow Bridge. Her heart was too kind; her nature too sweet.

It was an honor, Dolly, to be with you as you recovered from the removal of your eyes, as you struggled with kidney problems, and finally your struggle with heart failure.

Occasionally, you come across a dog that touches your soul. You were one such dog. Though you had no eyes, you had the ability to see with your heart.

We will always treasure the memories....especially this one...
Your mommy and daddy carrying you around in our arms, dancing while you wagged your tail, as we sang to you "YOUR" song... sung to the tune of 'Oh my darling Clementine'...
